Registration Fee of $100.00 CAN is non-refundable and guarantees a student’s enrollment and space until the commencement of the program. Program tuition fees are non-refundable once students are registered. Tuition fees can be paid by cheque, money order, or cash (in-person only). MTC Camp programs may be substituted for other programs only with the permission of Camp Director. Students/parents will be charged a fee of $30.00 for dishonoured cheques. For Swimming and Soccer programs, an additional $30 school bus fee will be applied per week.
MTC’s yearly tuition is payable up-front and in lump sum. This tuition fee is non-refundable after the issuance of a Student Visa/Study Permit. All International Students must have valid visa/study permit in Canada to study the school. If a student is not granted a Visa for study, then the school deducts an applicable Registration and Admission Fee, and refunds the balance of the tuition to the student. Evidence of valid visas and other related documents must be provided to MTC upon registration and no later than the first day of the commencement of classes.
Students are expected to attend all classes and there will be no refund of school fees if a student fails to attend. Attendance in the designated program is expected from all teachers/instructors and absences will not be accommodated.
Students may enjoy lunch in the newly renovated MTC Cafeteria where they are given a number of snack and meal options. Good nutrition, regular meals, conservation of the environment, independence, giving grace and courtesy to others are significant considerations during lunch hour. All lunch and break-times are closely supervised by staff. Food allergies must be reported to the school prior to the commencement of any course. If your child has a special dietary need due to religious or medical reasons, MTC does not accommodate. Parents must notify MTC on the Registration Form prior to the start of Camp and provide their children with meals accordingly.
Nut and nut-product allergies are a big concern to MTC, as children attending camp may have severe, life-threatening allergies. Our policy prohibits all nut products at Camp. Please do not allow your child to enter the school with any of the following: Nutella, Peanuts/Peanut Butter, any tree nuts, or any product which may contain traces of nuts (check contents carefully).
Health and Safety
It is essential that MTC, its teachers/instructors receive notice of medical conditions and/or allergies. Medical conditions and/or allergies must be reported to MTC prior to the attendance of any student at the school. Mandatory indications, for specific allergies must be worn by the student. Any student required to take medication at school must report the medication and its use to MTC and the medication must be approved. No medication can be held by the student during his studies, unless approved.
Parents must provide the Camp Director with all medication their child requires. All medication must be clearly labelled with the camper’s name, the exact dosage and the time it is to be administered indicated on the camper’s Registration Form in the Health Conditions section. Campers requiring an EpiPen must have 2 available: one to be kept at the front reception and one to be carried by the child (grade 1+) or by the counsellor (if child is under 6). MTC must be notified if any medications need to be refrigerated. Administration of medication must be approved by the school and may be assisted by staff. If any medication taken by a student is considered hazardous to the health of others or the student, the student may be sent home.
